Wednesday Evening Handicap Races
posted 15 May, 2008The BGCC Wednesday evening Handicap Races are held over the Summer Daylight Savings Times. The slowest boats head off at 5:44 p.m. with faster paddlers off at later times so that everyone is due to finish at about 7 p.m. All paddlers wishing to take part must be either members of BGCC, or regestered with another club and hold a current Australian Canoeing membership card. Paddlers are on a roster of timekeeping and barbecue duties, with only one or two volunteering sessions per season.
