Time and Day for Winter season Handicap Races? 2 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
An email has gone out to BGCC members, asking what time of day and which day of the weekend they preferred for Winter Season Handicap Races. So far there have been nine replies but no clear-cut preference, for either the day or the time. My preference is for 10:30 on a Sunday morning, but you could persuade me to go for a slightly earlier time - say 9:30 a.m.
It is your club, so please send in a reply or add to this forum is you wish to take part in our own Winter Series over the cooler (cold?) months.
Helen.

If members are interested in earlier times we just need someone to co-ordinate them - open up and get things started. What if we have a trial, on April 5th and 19th (as Easter & Anzac Day will be out) with first boats away at 9.30am and see what happens?? Dependent on algae levels of course!

I am all for Sunday morning and like the 10:45 start times like we have done previous years. I was unable to come on the trial days so far as I was out of town. Also can not come this Sunday as I am racing the Sri Chimnoy race at Yerabbi Pond in Gungahlin.
