James,
I am in for the Saturday paddle at either location or even both.
Sunday - I may be in Sydney anyway with the family. Trish has something on in the city and the kids wish to visit a few places. I will discuss this with them this evening, hopefully before the meeting.
Monday - I am sure that the kids would love to go to the beach depending on weather and swell. I certainly do. I will discuss this with them tonight.

Monday is similar to Sunday. Must be able to roll.

Gents,

I would love to again try the Murrumbidgee river in the little boat. I feel that I need to gain more confidence around the little levels of white water in the river on the small boat before planting the ski into the rocks.

Note: For anyone else who hasn't paddled the white water yet I would strongly recommend taking up this offer - Nobby and James are patient and well schooled and you will learn a lot.

Time permitting - I will be there on Monday!!

Saturday meet at pine island 9.45am for 10am on the water give me a call or email if i havent already heard from you and know your coming this trip will be for paddlers with some experience with moving water or flat water sessions learning moving water strokes. Make sure you have some warmer gear as the water will be a little fresh.

A good run down the river on Saturday with Rohan, Sue, Angus, Simon, James, Darryl, Tom and myself. A couple of swims but a good morning activity.
Hopefully we will get some more rain to keep the river up to run Cotter to Uriarra in the long boats.

Sunday was a lazy paddle on the lake.

Monday proved to be beautiful and sunny on the coast at Mollymook.
James and I were the only paddlers out there with my girls using the boogie and skim boards. Mikki got dumped on a large wave but came up smiling and had something to talk about.
The water was a lot warmer than the Murrumbidgee or Molongolo so getting wet wasn't so bad.
Surf was up in the morning and Surf Kayak and play boats got some good runs. The SUP was taken out after lunch next to the reef and I managed to stay on it for a few long surfs into the beach. Back out again in the kayaks to finish off the day, only by this time the tide had gone out and the big waves were dumping onto the bar. There were still some sweet rides though.
An early finish and off to Batemans Bay for a seafood dinner.

A great long weekend. Bring on Merrimbula.
